On the fourth Friday of each month, the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts' truck arrives at the Adams Community Center filled with donated food, including vegetables from their own organic farm. Volunteers from Adams help distribute up to 15 pounds of product to participants who must be 55 years and older and who meet the income guidelines set by USDA. Thanks to the generosity of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, there are scholarships available to anyone unable to afford the $3.00 per bag service fee. All financial information is confidential.
