The Department of Public Works consists of the following four divisions:
- equipment and maintenance;
- highways;
- parks and grounds, including the cemetery;
- and wastewater treatment.
The following responsibilities fall under this department:
- Maintenance of town streets, sewers, and servicing of town vehicles; planting/maintenance of trees on town property.
- Maintenance of the town's playing fields, parks, and playgrounds.
- Sale of burial lots; Maintenance of town cemeteries, cemetery/burial records for research.
