Town of Adams - Welcome

Welcome to Adams!
Home of the 2002 Little League State Championship Games
Congratulations to Jesse Burkett and Your Fine Championship Run!

Adamsis located in Berkshire County and is presently the home to 9,300 year-round residents. We are in the westernmost county of Massachusetts only 15 minutes from the borders of New York and Vermont. The Town is nestled in the Hoosac River Valley bordered on the east by the Hoosac Range and on the west by Mount Greylock, Massachusetts’ highest peak. The Town center is a picturesque nineteenth century village with an active downtown, many historic buildings, and citizens who take an active part and a genuine pride in the quality of Town life. Adams is crossed by the Appalachian Trail and is the northern terminus of the Ashuwillticook Bicycle Trail. The Town is very proud of its municipal park system, which provides four athletic fields to the children of Adams in addition to playgrounds, passive parks and a skate park. The Town is also actively involved with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the development of additional outdoor recreational activities in Adams.

We encourage you to visit Adams and experience our varied historic sites, recreational opportunities, restaurants, stores, events, cultural attractions and the beauty of our valley.
